***CASTING CALL NOTICE ! ***

Submissions are now being accepted for an extraordinary feature movie, "MOTION". This film will weave a story using all sorts of movement and momentum, music and captions, but with no spoken dialogue. Dancers, Silent Actors, Athletes and Models are sought for roles. All roles are paid and production will begin this fall. Filming will take place primarily in Atlanta, Boston, Washington DC and New York City.                                                              SINGERS

      My life is full of singers. I cannot imagine a day without hearing songs. Decades ago my father, and later I myself, were proud members of the renowned University of Michigan Men's Glee Club. I still remember the thrill of learning and sharing beautiful music with dozens of other people who loved singing more than anything else in life. People have been singing throughout history, and animals have been singing for millions of years.

    Over the next month, AcquaTroupe is holding an online competition for singers in all styles of music. More important than choosing winners is the pure joy of getting to hear all kinds of singers and songs. It is great to see applications from old people who've sung all their lives but never thought of sharing their music widely; young singers unknown outside their small circle of friends, but who have the talent to build stellar careers; and lots of folks who just cannot resist the temptation to put a song online and share it.

     Don't shout when you are down and out
     Don't swear anywhere
     Don't whisper.....just SING !!

WIDENING OUR REACH

Every so often it is healthy for people working together to assess where they are and what they have done. We are affectionately known as JAW (James Gibson Arts, AcquaTroupe and World Oceans Arts). For all practical purposes, we are one unit. We are several hundred people in contact with one another, most of us creative or performing artists. We are trying to use artistic expression to make the world a little better, to inspire and fulfill people, to offer our interpretations of life and the universe in meaningful ways. AcquaTroupe is rapidly filling up the calendar with future performance commitments and projects throughout North America and Europe. World Oceans Arts is steadily moving through the huge mission of bringing two new movies to the screen: 1969  and Litany,  both of which will offer broad commentary on our world today and on who we are as people.
