BREATHING WITH WOA
Hello everyone, If you are able to read this, we are grateful that you are alive and hopefully doing what is needed to remain healthy. To begin with the most important thing: it is only by the world acting as a community, a family, that everyone will survive and prosper and move ahead of the current pandemic. If we each place the lives and interests of others higher than our own desires, this will succeed.
Please consider supporting Artists at the Bottom, Friends at the Top. This fund helps creative and performing artists who face dire circumstances. At present ALL funds received will go directly to help people who are negatively affected by the corona virus. Just email us if you can make a donation.
Bundles are one way that we at World Oceans Arts can raise funds to help those in need, while also providing work for our own artists, and providing a steady stream of entertainment and learning. Our bundles consist of things like films, music recordings and videos, written poetry and fiction and essays, educational videos like our Exploring with Shakespeare series, photos and memorabilia from our dancers and singers and actors and others. Soon we will announce all the items that can be included in a bundle. When a person purchases a WOA bundle, he/she may choose what items will be included. The price is always low, compared to what one would spend to purchase the same or similar items individually on the market.
Casting is underway! It never really stops here, and right now we have several worthy projects on the horizon. We need actors, writers, singers, instrumental musicians, crews, dancers, researchers, and lots of others. Among our projects for the next year are an AcquaTroupe documentary video which we will help produce; speculative commercials for some of the largest companies in the world; educational videos, sound recordings and written material; music and dance videos; and much more. We are also working with AcquaTroupe to complete filming of many of their activities, as well as finishing production of our big movie 1969. Live events? Sure, they are not possible right now in 'normal' ways in most of the world. But we will soon begin making live performances available to you online. We are also talking about truly live events for the late summer and fall, where a limited audience will be present, albeit spatially separated from one another. Watch this website for announcements!
